Intermountain Regional Medical Program records 1961-1978 1966-1974

The Regional Medical Program was authorized by Congress in 1965. The Intermountain Regional Medical Program functioned from 1967 to 1974. Its projects focused on continuing education for health care professionals and the provision of consultants for rural communities. The University of Utah served as the grantee institution and kept the program's records. The largest portion of this collection consists of project files. Other major sections are committee files, correspondence, grant applications, and files of program directors. Principal correspondents are Art Anderson, Richard Haglund, Bert Jones, Dave Noonan, Thomas Pace, Sam Roberts, Robert Satovick, Donald W. Ulmer, and William Wilson.
